About La Mano Coffee Bar

La mano coffee bar, recently featured in the Washington City Paper’s “Underrated Food Issue,” offers traditional coffee and espresso drinks prepared with care, a selection of responsibly sourced coffees, and other original signature beverages .

A variety of sweet and savory baked goods are prepared from scratch in-house, including their signature item, the hand pie – inspired by the quintessential Latin American staple, the empanada.

Owned by Javier Rivas, la mano is located in the Historic Neighborhood of Takoma in Washington, D.C.  at 304 Carroll St. NW, just steps from the Takoma Metro Station.
